Good questions

Before your
next chapter.

A few things to know about your brief, the research, and what happens next.

Is RoleRaven for my profession or experience level?

RoleRaven supports job titles and skills across professions, from entry-level roles to leadership positions. Your brief and questions shape the research. It works best when you have a target role in mind; available listings and public information vary by occupation and employer.

What does RoleRaven research?

It reviews the job posting, gathers company and publicly available people information, and investigates the questions in your brief. Those might cover responsibilities, development, leadership, or commute. Your dossier brings together findings, supporting evidence, concerns, and questions that remain unanswered.

Can it answer every question about a role?

Research depends on information that is publicly available and accessible. Some details—such as a manager’s day-to-day style or an unpublished working policy—may need a conversation with the employer. RoleRaven flags missing evidence so you know what still needs checking.

How does automatic research work?

You can research individual roles from your inbox. Saving your search through the Search Criteria screen also enables automatic research on opportunities, subject to research limits. Editing the brief pauses automation until you confirm the search criteria again. The final decision to pursue a role stays with you.

What happens to my CV and preferences?

Your CV helps pre-fill your brief and provides context for assessments. Your brief and decisions belong to your account; company and people facts can be reused across accounts. Relevant CV and brief content may be processed by the AI services used to provide the research.

Does RoleRaven apply to jobs for me?

You decide whether to apply. RoleRaven helps you find and research opportunities, then links to the employer’s application page when it can find one, or to the available job posting. Applications take place outside RoleRaven.

Where do the jobs come from?

We source live job listings through trusted partners with access to roles from thousands of employers and job sites across the UK. RoleRaven then researches the roles that match your brief, using the job posting and other publicly available information.
